The Reloop RP-2000 MK4 is a fully manual direct-drive turntable designed for reliable DJ and vinyl playback performance. Its direct-drive motor provides consistent platter rotation and responsive operation, while the 8-pole, 2-phase brushless DC motor delivers dependable performance during extended use. With a starting torque of more than 1.0 kgf/cm, the platter reaches operating speed quickly, while the electronic brake system provides controlled stopping when playback ends. This combination makes the turntable suitable for DJs, practice sessions, and traditional vinyl playback.

Two-Speed Vinyl Playback

The RP-2000 MK4 supports the two standard turntable speeds of 33 and 45 RPM, with dedicated speed controls for quick and convenient selection. Its 332 mm aluminum platter provides a stable platform for vinyl records and is supplied with a slip mat for smooth record handling. The fully manual operating design gives users direct control over playback and record handling. This makes the turntable practical for both traditional listening and hands-on DJ applications.

Adjustable Pitch Control

An adjustable pitch fader provides continuous speed control for precise playback adjustment. The 8% pitch range allows DJs to fine-tune record speed for beat matching and synchronization between records. The platter reaches operating speed in less than one second, providing responsive operation during performances and practice sessions. Wow and flutter is specified at less than 0.15% WRMS according to JIS WTD measurement, helping provide stable and consistent playback. These features give users useful control for both professional DJ applications and recreational vinyl listening.

S-Shaped Tonearm System

The RP-2000 MK4 features a static-balanced S-shaped tonearm designed for accurate record tracking. Its 16 mm overhang and less than 3 tracking error angle support precise stylus positioning across the record surface. Tracking force can be adjusted from 0 to 4 g to accommodate compatible cartridges, while the tonearm supports cartridges weighing from 3.5 to 8.5 g. An adjustable anti-skating control ranging from 0 to 7 g helps optimize tracking performance. The included headshell and pickup system provide a convenient setup for immediate vinyl playback.

Connections and Setup

The turntable features a dedicated phono output for connection to a compatible mixer or phono preamp, along with a separate GND earth connection to help minimize unwanted hum. Its power connection supports AC 115/230 V operation at 50/60 Hz, while the 13 W power consumption provides efficient operation. The supplied platter, slip mat, counterweight, headshell, and cables simplify initial installation. Its straightforward connection layout makes the RP-2000 MK4 suitable for DJ booths, practice setups, and home audio systems.

Reliable Construction and Operation

The RP-2000 MK4 combines a durable aluminum platter with a robust direct-drive mechanism for dependable operation. Manual controls provide direct access to playback speed, pitch, tonearm, and tracking adjustments, while the counterweight scale allows accurate setup of the recommended cartridge tracking force. The integrated tonearm lift helps position the stylus safely over the desired record groove. A built-in stylus illumination switch improves visibility when cueing records in darker environments. Overall, the RP-2000 MK4 provides a practical balance of control, stability, and dependable vinyl performance.
