The RCF TRK PRO2 hardware interface packs a robust and well-thought USB 2.0 studio-in-a-box with all the connectivity required for microphones, musical instruments, or line-level signals to a computer running macOS or Windows. The 2-channel internal linear preamp circuit allows the connection of 48V phantom-powered microphones and Hi-Z level instruments. Input signals can be routed to DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) at up to 24-bit, 192 kHz resolution; similarly, software monitoring and direct monitoring can be routed to the balanced outputs with variable mixing ratio. The interface can be connected to an amplifier and speakers, powered monitors, headphones, an analog mixer, or other analog audio devices.

Three Inputs in One:

The TRK PRO2s two multifunctional XLR/” combo inputs support three input types for maximum flexibility. The internal 2-channel linear preamp provides clean gain for microphones via XLR, with optional 48V phantom power for condenser and electret mics. Inserting a ” cable enables pristine line-level input, while engaging the impedance selector switches the ” stage to Hi-Z modeideal for directly recording electric guitar, bass, and other high-impedance instruments.

High-Quality 24-Bit Conversion:

Equipped with a 24-bit / 192 kHz DSP converter, the TRK PRO2 captures audio with clarity from standard 44.1 kHz CD-quality up to high-resolution 192 kHz sampling. The interface is fully class-compliant for macOS Core Audio and works with most iOS/Android devices (with suitable adapters). For optimal low-latency performance, Windows users can install the dedicated TRK PRO driver.

Studio in a Box:

Compact, durable, and easy to deploy, the TRK PRO2 provides all the essentials for recording, mixing, and monitoring on the go. It is fully USB bus-poweredno external power supply required. The USB connection enables two-way audio transfer, allowing your DAW to receive clean digital audio or send playback to external speakers, amplifiers, or mixers through the balanced rear-panel ” outputs. Dedicated controls for monitor volume, input level, and headphone output ensure precise session control.

Included Software:

The TRK PRO2 includes a comprehensive suite of professional production tools designed to support recording, editing, mixing, and music creation across both desktop and mobile platforms. Users receive Cubase LE for Mac and Windows, the Wavelab LE audio editor, and Cubasis LE for iOS for on-the-go DAW production. The package also features powerful processing plug-ins, including the REmatrix FIRST convolution reverb (exclusive to RCF), Overloud BReverb 2 Essential reverb simulator, and Overloud TH-U Essential amp modeling suiteproviding a complete creative toolkit right out of the box.
