The Novation Launchkey Mini 37-Key MIDI Keyboard Controller is a cornerstone of modern music production, combining creativity, control, and connectivity in one streamlined instrument. With the Launchkey MK4, Novation takes that legacy to a new level, delivering a controller that bridges the gap between physical performance and digital creation like never before. Designed for the ever-evolving music landscape, the Launchkey MK4 offers the perfect balance of power, precision, and compatibility. Its a favorite among producers and performers alike, praised for its deep DAW integration, extensive customization, and ability to work completely standalone – thanks to MIDI over USB-C and 5-pin MIDI output. Whether youre working with external hardware, mobile instruments, or software setups, the MK4 delivers unmatched flexibility with its velocity-sensitive synth keys, modulation controls, and polyphonic aftertouch performance pads.

Available in six models – 25-, 37-, 49-, and 61-key full-size versions, plus the portable Mini 25 and Mini 37 – the MK4 lineup offers something for every workflow. Each controller features responsive, synth-style keys alongside assignable encoders, faders, and buttons, giving you hands-on control over any DAW or hardware rig. The 16 RGB-backlit FSR pads add another layer of expression, ideal for triggering samples, drums, clips, or performing with dynamic aftertouch.

Performance enhancements are at the heart of the MK4 series. Three powerful Chord Modes – Chord Map, User Chord, and Fixed Chord – make it easy to experiment with harmonies and progressions. The Chord Detector instantly identifies and displays chords on the bright OLED screen, helping you learn and refine your performance. In User Chord mode, up to 16 chords can be stored and transposed in real time, unlocking new creative workflows.

Compatibility is another key strength. The Launchkey MK4 integrates effortlessly with Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Reaper, Reason, and more – ready to go right out of the box. For complete customization, Novation Components software allows you to build personalized mapping profiles from scratch, letting you control any MIDI-compatible instrument exactly how you want.

Finally, the Split and Layer modes on the 49- and 61-key versions expand performance possibilities – letting you play two sounds at once or divide the keyboard into separate zones.

With its smart design, expressive controls, and deep integration, the Novation Launchkey MK4 isnt just a MIDI controller – its a complete creative hub built for todays producers, live performers, and music visionaries.
