Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the difference between Direct Thermal and Thermal Transfer on the Nippon RP-400H?

Direct Thermal printing does not require any carbon ribbon; it prints directly onto heat-sensitive thermal paper (ideal for short-term shipping labels). Thermal Transfer uses a wax/resin ribbon to print onto standard paper, wash labels, or plastic tags, creating scratch-resistant prints that last long term.

Does the Nippon RP-400H come with label creation software?

Yes, the Nippon RP-400H comes bundled with NiceLabel / BarTender software support, allowing you to easily design custom 1D barcodes, 2D QR codes, company logos, and text labels without buying extra software.

What maximum sticker width can I use with this printer?

The Nippon RP-400H supports a maximum paper printing width of up to 104mm (4 inches), making it versatile enough to handle smaller 1-inch price stickers all the way up to standard 4-inch courier shipping waybills.

What warranty is provided with the Nippon RP-400H printer at ICT.com.mm?
