The Lewitt MTP840DM is a professional dynamic handheld microphone designed for demanding live and studio vocal applications. Its supercardioid polar pattern provides focused sound capture while helping isolate the main sound source from unwanted noise. The microphone delivers a tailored vocal response with enhanced midrange clarity and controlled bass. Its dynamic capsule provides reliable performance for lead vocals, background vocals, conferences, lectures, and other applications. With a frequency response of 40 Hz to 18 kHz, it captures vocals with clarity and definition. The rugged construction also makes it suitable for regular stage and touring use.

The MTP 840 DM features an active mode that provides switchable sensitivity and improved gain flexibility. Three gain settings of 0 dB, 6 dB, and 12 dB allow the microphone to adapt to different sources and recording situations. Its three-position low-cut filter offers linear, 150 Hz, and 250 Hz settings for controlling proximity effect and unwanted low-frequency content. Built-in illuminated indicators make it easy to check microphone settings, even in dark environments. An integrated acoustic pop and windshield helps protect the capsule while maintaining high-frequency clarity. The microphone requires 48 V phantom power when using its active features.

Built for professional use, the MTP 840 DM features a solid full-metal die-cast body and a hardened steel mesh grille for improved durability. Its gold-plated 3-pin XLR connector provides dependable professional connectivity and corrosion resistance. The microphone offers a 19 dB(A) self-noise rating and up to 135 dB dynamic range in passive mode. It measures 51 mm in diameter and 183 mm in length, with a net weight of 336 g. The package includes a microphone clip, windscreen, and transport bag. The MTP 840 DM is an excellent choice for performers and professionals requiring focused, flexible, and durable vocal capture.
