The LEWITT MTP 5 is a dynamic handheld microphone designed for live vocals and demanding stage applications. Its cardioid polar pattern focuses on the performer’s voice while helping reduce unwanted sound and feedback from behind the microphone. The carefully optimized response enhances midrange and high frequencies to provide greater vocal clarity and presence. Its dynamic moving-coil design performs reliably in high-energy live environments. The microphone requires no external power, making it simple to integrate with mixers, consoles, and stage boxes. It is an excellent choice for singers, performers, and live production applications.

Clear Vocal Sound

The MTP 5 features a pressure-gradient dynamic transducer designed to deliver consistent vocal reproduction on stage. Its 2 mV/Pa sensitivity provides a dependable output signal for professional live sound equipment. The cardioid pickup pattern helps isolate the vocalist from stage monitors, instruments, and other surrounding sound sources. Enhanced midrange and high-frequency response help vocals remain intelligible within dense live mixes. The microphone’s 280 internal impedance allows reliable operation with compatible microphone inputs. Its focused sound characteristics make it suitable for a wide variety of live vocal performances.

High Feedback Resistance

The efficient cardioid polar pattern is engineered to provide strong resistance against acoustic feedback during live performances. It reduces sensitivity to unwanted sound arriving from the rear while maintaining focused pickup from the front. This makes the microphone particularly useful when working close to stage monitors or loud instruments. The design also accommodates creative microphone techniques, including cupping around the capsule, without introducing significant tonal changes. Its consistent performance allows performers greater freedom while maintaining vocal clarity. The MTP 5 is therefore well suited to demanding stage environments where feedback control is essential.

Rugged Stage Construction

The MTP 5 features a durable zinc die-cast enclosure designed to withstand the demands of frequent live performance use. Its full-metal construction provides reliable protection against the physical demands of touring, rehearsals, and stage work. The gold-plated 3-pin XLR connector provides a secure professional connection to compatible audio equipment. Its compact 179 mm length and 48 mm diameter provide a comfortable handheld form factor for performers. Weighing approximately 336 g, the microphone balances durability with practical handling. The MTP 5 delivers a dependable combination of rugged construction, vocal clarity, and stage-ready performance.
