The JBL Control 440CS/T is a premium in-ceiling subwoofer engineered to deliver powerful, low-distortion bass for commercial distributed audio systems. Its 8-inch treated paper cone woofer is housed in a reinforced integrated enclosure, producing deep and controlled low-frequency performance. Designed for retail stores, hospitality venues, conference rooms, restaurants, and corporate facilities, it enhances any installed sound system with rich, impactful bass. The durable construction ensures reliable long-term performance in demanding environments.

The integrated passive crossover allows the Control 440CS/T to operate seamlessly with compatible JBL satellite speakers, creating a balanced full-range audio system. Large tapered dual bass ports improve airflow while minimizing distortion, resulting in warm, smooth bass reproduction. The built-in multi-tap transformer supports both 70V/100V distributed systems and direct 8-ohm operation, providing excellent installation flexibility. High power handling ensures consistent performance even at elevated output levels.

Installation is simple and efficient thanks to the captive dogear mounting system, integrated backcan, and flexible top or side cable entry options. The sleek full-face magnetic grille provides a modern architectural appearance and can be painted to match virtually any ceiling finish. An IP33 environmental rating adds durability for commercial environments, while a range of optional mounting accessories further simplifies installation across different ceiling types.
