Globalsix 3m Multi mode LC-LC duplex OM3 Fibre Patch Lead 1P3MLCLCOM3AQUA

Fibre patch leads like this one are essential for connecting fibre optics components with minimal signal loss and high bandwidth performance in structured cabling systems. They ensure fast, reliable data transmission while simplifying installation and maintenance.

Fibre optic patch cable used to connect network equipment (e.g., switches, patch panels, SFP transceivers) in optical networks.

Connector Type

LC to LC duplex, two LC connectors on each end for bidirectional optical communication.

Length

3 metres, suitable for internal rack or equipment-to-equipment connections.

Fibre Type

Typically multimode (OM3/OM4) with an aqua coloured jacket (industry standard colour for multimode) used in high-speed environments.

High-speed support

Enables reliable transmission for Ethernet, Fibre Channel and data centre links at speeds up to 10 Gbps (and beyond with appropriate hardware).

Low insertion/return loss

Designed to maintain signal integrity over the link (typical <0.250.30 dB insertion loss).

Jacket Type

Often LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) for safer indoor use in data centres and offices (fire-safe).

Applications:

• Data centres and server room interconnects
• LAN/SAN patching and backbone links
• Fibre to the desktop or equipment racks
