The DiGiCo X-A-CON-1-US is a compact single-gang wall controller designed for use with the DiGiCo 4REA4 centralized DSP system. It features a programmable rotary encoder with an integrated TFT display for convenient control of audio functions. The controller connects to the 4REA4 central DSP engine through the control network and is configured using 4REA4 software. Its dual-function rotary encoder can be programmed for music source selection, level adjustment, or preset recall. The US version is designed for Decora-compatible installations.

Programmable Rotary Control

The X-A-CON-1-US features a programmable rotary encoder that provides flexible control over assigned 4REA4 functions. The dual-function encoder can be configured for music source selection, volume or level adjustment, and preset recall. This allows a single wall-mounted controller to provide intuitive access to frequently used audio controls. The integrated display provides visual feedback for the selected control or source. Programming is performed through the 4REA4 software.

TFT LCD Display

An integrated TFT LCD display provides clear visual information directly on the wall controller. The display works with the programmable encoder to provide an intuitive user interface. It can help users identify selected sources, levels, presets, and other assigned control functions. This makes the X-A-CON-1-US suitable for environments where simple local audio control is required. The compact display and rotary interface provide straightforward operation without requiring a separate control computer.

4REA4 Network Integration

The controller connects to the DiGiCo 4REA4 centralized DSP engine through the system’s control network. Ethernet connectivity supports TCP/IP communication for reliable integration with compatible 4REA4 installations. Power over Ethernet allows the controller to receive power through the network connection, helping simplify installation. The RJ45 connection provides a standard network interface for system integration. Configuration and programming are handled through the 4REA4 software platform.

Flexible Installation

The X-A-CON-1-US is designed for single-gang wall installation and can be flush wall or surface mounted. Its US Decora-compatible form factor makes it suitable for installations using standard US-style wall plates and electrical boxes. The controller family is also available in EU and UK-compatible form factors. This provides installation flexibility across different commercial and architectural environments.

Professional Audio Control

The X-A-CON-1-US provides a simple local control solution for 4REA4 systems in commercial, corporate, hospitality, education, entertainment, and installed audio environments. Users can access assigned functions without operating the main DSP system directly. Its compact design keeps control discreet while providing essential audio management at the point of use. Combined with Ethernet and PoE connectivity, it offers a practical control interface for professional distributed audio installations.
